As the founder of Mental Shift Wellness and a dedicated therapist, I am committed to helping individuals recognize and attain their aspirations in order to lead the lives they truly desire. I understand the challenges of finding the right therapist, which is why I strive to create a secure, trusting, and welcoming environment for my clients.
Together, we will embark on a journey to explore, identify, and accomplish your personal therapy goals. I firmly believe that each client possesses unique expertise, strengths, and capacities, and it is my mission to assist you in discovering, nurturing, and employing these qualities to achieve your objectives.
My approach to therapy is both client-focused and adaptable. I employ a unique blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy-informed, psychodynamic techniques, and strengths-based methodology to address behavioral concerns, anger management, symptoms of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and a variety of other issues. Together we will develop a unique and individualized framework towards enhancing various aspects of your life.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. With an extensive background working with a variety of individuals across diverse clinical therapeutic settings—including residential treatment centers, community mental health agencies, and outpatient clinics—I am well-equipped to collaboratively explore, develop, and harness your individual strengths and abilities. By doing so, we can uncover innovative and effective coping strategies to tackle challenging situations and ultimately elevate the quality of your life.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, the outdoors, working out, meditation, comedy, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to joining you on your journey towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
